About Us

This blog is maintained by the Urban Landscape Water Conservation Coordinating Committee (ULWCCC), a regional professional group whose stated mission is to develop water-wise landscape education and water management tools to serve the people of the Southwest US.

With the launch of this blog, we aim to coordinate the information resources on water conservation issues in the southwestern landscape.  We plan to provide links to best-practice websites, relevant professional blogs, and destinations (gardens and parks).  We will post events, community resources (master gardeners and organizations dedicated to water-wise landscape issues), and short, timely articles and announcements.  If you have a favorite resource or contact or know of a local event, by all means, let us know!  And please, let us know your thoughts as we move forward.
